Thierry Kouthon and Tom Carroux, from Cryptography Research, will be providing a demonstration of their turn-key system. This system is the first end-to-end, enhanced content protection solution for 4K UHD Smart TVs, was created through a collaboration amongst Cryptography Research, Intertrust and MStar.

System Highlights
  • Cryptography Research’s CryptoFirewall security core meets MovieLabs’ requirements for hardware root of trust and protection against side channel attacks.
  • Intertrust operates the ExpressPlay DRM license service and supports: (i) Marlin and other DRMs, (ii) HDCP 2.2 and (iii) forensic watermarking.
  • MStar sells more 4K UHD TV chipsets worldwide than any other company.

Mike Andre, DTLA TWG Chair and Seth D. Greenstein from Constantine Cannon LLP will be giving a presentation on DTCP2; the newest version of the DTCP.
